Kurt took us to Copper Mountain Landfill. It was very interesting. By days end not one shred of trash is allowed to be visible. All material is covered with 6 inches of soil after rolling, crushing. All burial areas are lined with thick plastic and under this is sensors that detect any leakage. Rodents and birds are rare due to the way the trash is dealt with.
