Bandera Texas

Only dance?  Nope.  How about a Rodeo?

Cowboy Church for Easter?

BBQ picnic for hot dogs and burgers?

Yum Yum!

Or, how about a hay ride?

Or the talents of a lariat flying cowboy dude?

One of our own to entertain us, Linda was singing.

You will never find us without an interest in food.  Teams during the week managed breakfasts and dinners.

Lesson, lessons and more lessons.

Our evening dances with a great singer.

Me in my one and only fancy dress with Bob standing with me.

Can you believe we all danced in pajamas?

Another dance rally?  Yep!  My first time in Bandera.  What fun.  Lessons, dances, food, exploring the area, pajama dance, more food, BBQ and talent show.  What a great time.

Arizona Opry, Apache Junction & Organ Stop Pizza

Can you believe an Opry in the little town of Apache Junction.  It was awesome!
Look at all the brass instruments.

During any given performance most if not all of these instruments were played, including keyboard instruments.
This Organ was wonderful at the Organ Stop Pizza.

2010 Dance Rally, Casa Grande Arizona

What a fun, crazy time.  I had not been to the dance rally for several years.  I had a good time.  We had lesson everyday, dances every evening.  We had excursions into town, eating out and of course pizza night.  Linda was the host and many people worked hard to get it set up and run for the week.

Break time to visit and rest.

Oh, oh.  High school mom's?

If this wasn't the hippie age, what was!

The talent show was great and Sharon's mom was hilarious.

The talent show audience howled with laughter and hoots.

A New Porch for Trina and Willie

Can you believe this wonderful, rustic front porch my son-in-law made for the front of his and my daughters home?  It is made of logs he cut and fit for this great porch.  I guess I'm proud?  You bet!

Welton, Arizona

Kurt took us to Copper Mountain Landfill.  It was very interesting.  By days end not one shred of trash is allowed to be visible.  All material is covered with 6 inches of soil after rolling, crushing.  All burial areas are lined with thick plastic and under this is sensors that detect any leakage.  Rodents and birds are rare due to the way the trash is dealt with.

USA and Mexico

We took a 4x4 ride to the Mexican "fence".  What a joke.  Also saw an emergency area for the illegals who are crossing over to the US.  Our presence alerted the Border Patrol and they came to investigate.  We were told the fence is to stop vehicle cross overs only.

Here's my girls and grandkids, enjoy.

My little Santa head.

This was my mom's little tree when she was in the hospital before she passed away.  It is now my treasure.
