New York, Manhattan, and Brooklyn 9/2011

What an amazing, busy, noisy, crowded, beautiful place.  I can't believe the number of people and vehicles.  The subway system is another world in itself and for me was a bit unnerving.  The buildings are sky high and the rent is too.  The average rent is $2000 a month minimum except in the subsidized housing.  The city has wonderful old buildings, art and museums and parks.  The stores and shopping are endless if you wanted it to be.
So far I have visited the Federal Reserve Bank and touched gold bars, been on a tenement building and culture food tour, ground zero and memorial garden, the tear drop, NYC Museum of Art, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and many, many miles on the subway and buses and many miles walked.  I cannot even mention all the other things I have seen and done in between all this!  So just enjoy the pictures.
